Nose: Coffee, black currants, floral
Taste: Coffee, minerals, black currants, leather, floral
Finish: This wine is balanced and has an amazing long and intense finish
Evaluation: Decanted six hours and showing beautiful! You will be rewarded with heavy decanting and day 2 tasting. A steal for $26.00! (94 pts.)

Finish: Medium and concentrated with nice acidity

Nose: Truffles, dark cherries, smoke
Taste: Floral, spices, truffles, cherry, chalk
Finish: Good acidity with medium tannins
Evaluation: Great wine for the money (93 pts.)
2005 Château La Grave a Pomerol Trigant de Boisset

Taste: Cherries, gravel, blackberries, spice, oak
Finish: Medium concentrated finish with tons of potential
Evaluation: Decanted six hours. The third time sampling this wine with similar results (92 pts.)

Nose: Violets, dark fruits and spices
Taste: A tannic wine. Shows promise with dark fruits, violets, minerals, earth
Finish: Medium and concentrated finish that needs some cellar time
Evaluation: I won’t revisit for 5 years on this one. (88 pts.)
